January 7, 2010: Applied to the adoption agency.
February 2, 2010: We were accepted into the adoption agency’s program.
February 26, 2010: We received our home study packet.
March 31, 2010: We mailed our completed home study packet.
April 2, 2010: Mailed our state certification.
April 8, 2010: Received completed state certification.
April 26, 2010: First home study interview.
May 19, 2010: PDB’s individual home study interview.
May 21, 2010: Sweet Sweet’s individual home study interview.
May 21, 2010: PDB and Sweet Sweet’s combined home study interview.
June 28, 2010: Received home study rough draft.
July 7, 2010: Received finalized home study.
July 8, 2010: Mailed finalized home study.
July 19,2010: Received fingerprint appointment notice.
August 6, 2010: Fingerprint appointment.
August 18, 2010: Received USCIS Approval
August 20, 2010: Mailed Dossier to AWAA.
August 23, 2010: Received email that our Dossier arrived at AWAA, everything looks great, and we will hopefully be DTE this Friday, August 27th.
August 27, 2010: Dossier mailed to Ethiopia (“DTE”).
September 6, 2010: Dossier arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
March 31, 2011: Referral received!
April 1, 2011: Referral accepted!
June 21, 2011: Court (missing MOWCYA letter)
July 8, 2011: Passed Court!!!
July 20, 2011: Submitted to Embassy.
